Reconciliation Week is almost here and the AFL National Indigenous round will feature all 18 teams wearing Guernseys with significant Indigenous designs related to Aboriginal culture.
The Indigenous round is named in Honour of Sir Doug Nicholls and his contribution in Australia. Sir Doug Nicholls was a strong Indigenous role-model and South Australia’s First Indigenous Governor.
The KSGAC members are very excited as the Fremantle Dockers Games will show a sea of Purple as the Club management and employees will wear the KSGAC National Sorry Day Flower. The Fremantle Dockers Football Club continue to support Stolen Generation members by including our Sorry Day Flower on their Indigenous Round Guernsey.
We are encouraging as many spectators as possible to purchase a Sorry Day Flower quickly in order to show their support during the game on Sunday May 26th – National Sorry Day.
Please tell your family members who are attending the game or any during the Indigenous Round to show their support and order the Sorry Day flower.
